MobileConnect

We have recently installed MobileConnect; an assistive listening tool that allows audio to be streamed in real time to a smartphone or tablet. You can use it to listen to audio description or an enhanced show soundtrack. Because this App uses WiFi you can access the service anywhere in the auditorium.

You can download the MobileConnect App onto your smartphone from the Apple Store or Google Play Store for free.

When you are inside the Theatre:

• start the MobileConnect App
• connect to the 'New Theatre Hearing Loop'
• follow the instructions given by the App. 

If you have any question, our staff will be happy to assist you.

We also offer mobile devices here at the theatre which you are welcome to borrow to connect to MobileConnect. These are configured to work with Apple's VoiceOver app, which allows your screen to be read to you, including buttons, icons, links, and other interface elements, and lets you use gestures to navigate and select your options.

Audio description starts twenty minutes before the performance.
